Tim Neckebroeck, Belgium

currently Business Unit Manager at Albini Group
Tim started to become interested in working in Fashion after getting a first degree in law. Attending MAFED was for him an amazing educational and personal experience.
After completing the program, he started working for the Albini Group. They are a large producer of cotton fabrics and they supply fabrics to many brands. This was a great way to enter the industry and he quickly started working in the “made to measure” business. He now manages the Business unit for the “made to measure” business for the company and travels extensively worldwide.
His daily job involves overseeing logistics, back office and the commercial area. It is a very interesting and challenging job and he got this opportunity after a strong performance in the MAFED field project conducted with the Albini Group.
His main recommendation is to show that you have great passion for the industry and even if you come from an academic background that may seem far away from fashion and business there is no limit to what you can achieve.
Luca Quagliano, Italy

currently Retail & Eastern-Europe Brand Manager for Intimissimi Brand (Calzedonia SpA.)
Luca started his post-MAFED working career in 2004 as a shop assistant in a Diesel store. He quickly changed to work in the Prada Brand office and then changed jobs to work as an Account Manager for a beer company.
Finally, he was hired by the Benetton group and his dreams in the fashion industry started to be realized when he became an Area Manager responsible for various European markets.
About one and a half years ago, Luca joined the Calzedonia Group and was appointed Retail Manager for northern Italy for the Intimissimi brand. Very recently Luca has been promoted to Retail & Eastern-Europe Brand Manager for the Intimissimi Brand.
Luca believes MAFED was one of the best years of his life and that it allowed him to get exposure to different backgrounds and cultures. The learning from MAFED has helped him day-to-day in his career and it can do the same for anyone considering joining MAFED.
His previous academic background was in law, which is why MAFED gave him the background and knowledge needed to work in the fashion industry.
