What is the TOEFL test?
TOEFL is the Test Of English as a Foreign Language and certifies your proficiency in Academic English.
Since only some SDA Bocconi Masters require the TOEFL test, we suggest you to check on each Master’s website.
In any case, if you are a native English speaker or you obtained a High School Diploma in English or you hold a degree from a University where courses are taught in English, you won't have to take the TOEFL test.
The School's TOEFL code is 0698.
There are three versions of the test: the first one is computer-based; the second one is paper-based; the last one is internet-based. The test is used and admitted all over the world, and consists of four parts: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
More information and preparation kits can be found at the official TOEFL website
What is the GMAT test?
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT®) test is a computer-adaptive test that is available year-round at test centres throughout the world. This test measures basic, mathematical, and analytical writing skills. It is specifically designed to help Business Schools to assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The test yields four scores (verbal, quantitative, total and analytical writing assessments) in order to measure applicants' potential academic performance in graduate management education. Each of these scores is reported on a fixed scale.
A good preparation kit explains the strategies and techniques to solve the problems.
What if I take an alternative to the GMAT test?
Some Masters selection criteria accept GRE as an alternative to GMAT.
We suggest you to check on each Master’s website.
