Milan has warm (and sometimes spectacular) Springs and Falls: temperatures are the most pleasant of the year, but the weather can be rainy sometimes. Milan is inland and there are differences in temperature between winter and summer. The winters can be very cold, particularly in December and January, and quite hot in July and August (with highs of up to 30°C). Winter temperature stays between 0°c and 10°c, occasionally getting down to -5°C, with some snow each year. The hours of sunshine in Milan are in line with the Mediterranean average.
