SDA Bocconi and Cornell University

The Master is taught by the faculties of SDA Bocconi, the School of Management of Bocconi University, and Cornell University (CAHRS - Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies), as well as by an Invited Faculty composed of HR professionals and consultants.

The Master is based on a teaching approach which complements thorough research with insights from HR practices in a variety of business contexts. On the one hand, participants will benefit from coverage of state-of-the-art HR practices, as investigated by frontier research carried out by outstanding Universities. On the other hand, participant will be able to analyze and discuss applied HR issues with our Invited faculty, which includes HR directors and senior consultants from leading international companies.

The joint presence of faculty from a US and a European institution allows for comparing and contrasting evidence from different HR contexts. Consequently, participants are provided the opportunity to capture the future trends in the global evolution of HR practices from multiple perspectives.

The program includes traditional class sessions, panel sessions with guest speakers, group interaction and individual work on specific assignments. Professors and staff are fully committed to support participants throughout the entire program, in class as well as via distance interactions supported by the Master’s distance learning.
