Mastering Your Emotions - The First EMSHRM Reunion

EMSHRM is ready to celebrate its first three years, with the first EMSHRM Reunion in September.

Around 40 HR managers and professionals from all over the world will meet again at SDA Bocconi at the end of September for a one-day workshop about emotional intelligence with the internationally renowned coach and best selling author Mike George. The title of the day is Mastering Your Emotions. Improve your creativity, empathy, adaptability and influencing skills.

Modern managers and leaders must fulfil a multitude of roles. As well as having technical expertise they must have distinct personal qualities such as initiative, empathy, adaptability and persuasiveness, which in turn are based on self-awareness, self-control and self-motivation. These are the skills of Emotional Intelligence - the ability to recognize and regulate one's own feelings, be sensitive to the feelings and emotions of others, and build empathic relationships with others.

During this one-day seminar participants will get a clear insight into the cause and effect of emotions, the distinction between emotions and feelings and how both can be harnessed to enhance management skills and leadership style. For more information: emshrm@sdabocconi.it
