The spectrum of nationalities, ages, gender, professional experiences and academic backgrounds in our MBA students brings energy and fruitful exchange that few MBA programs can offer. In our admissions process, we give special consideration to women (due to the lower percentage of women who apply to MBA programs), and to students with academic and/or professional backgrounds that differ from a traditional MBA profile such as sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc.) and humanities (social sciences, literature, philosophy, law, etc.). Each year we can accept a maximum of five young graduates with an outstanding academic record who have limited (less than two years) or no working experience. These candidates will be required to attend the MBA pre-courses.
Who is a typical MBA student?
A typical MBA student is inquisitive and enthusiastic, and is a good listener with the ability to focus and a desire to be involved. MBA students possess strong intuition and stamina, a solid academic background and sound work experience. When an individual opts for an MBA, they are driven by a willingness to grow as a manager and as a person by investing themselves in new opportunities, responsibilities and ethical values.
SDA Bocconi: a multicultural experience
To my fellow colleagues, friends and extended network- I am pleased to officially share that I will be attending SDA Bocconi School of Management this fall, and will be a member of the Class of 2017. I am thrilled to be accepted into this program, and look forward to meeting my classmates and alumni over the next few months. I have been so fortunate to be part of the Blueprint/Union Beer Distributors and Sheehan Family Companiesover the past 2+ years, and the growth and influence that our team has had in the craft spirit culture.
