Activities and Initiatives

To implement its mission, the competence center runs:

  1. research activities, aimed at developing and verifying singificant theories in the Italian and international contexts.
  2. attività di ricerca intervento, aimed at developing customised initiatives that respond to specific company needs through actions constructed ad hoc for individual planning and research requirements.
  3. education activities in open enrolment executive programmes aimed at the acquisition and development of the following competencies:
    • data analysis and quantitative methods for decision-making
    • market research
    • risk management
    • project management
  4. education activities in custom programmes, aimed at planning and implementing specially commissioned initiatives that respond to companies' specific training needs, in terms of content, teaching format and the teaching materials used.
  5. education activities in Master and MBA programmes, to design and run basic and advanced quantitative method courses organised around functional or cross-functional aspects.

There is no doubt that the correct and efficient management of information, analyses and the results they give provide improvements to decision-making processes and company operations stemming from them.
The educational needs expressed by our participants is to possess the methods and tools that enable them to respond to the best to the questions and choices that the future presents with rapidly available and significant information and analyses.

To this end, the programmes designed by the competence center, in addition  to present the analysis methodologies and  techniques regarding various frameworks (functional, decision making, interfunctional) they test how to apply these techniques successfully in companies, using tools in line with the information need and an adequate implementation process.
