For over twenty years, the Information Systems Unit of SDA Bocconi has been developing and disseminating knowledge in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in companies.

The ideas and competencies built up in this period have become part of the legacy of SDA Bocconi, making it a point of reference for businesses and professionals involved in the world of company information systems. In particular, the Information Systems Unit addresses Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and all the management figures involved in the governance and management of ICT.

In line with the calling of a management school, the Information Systems Unit dedicates its energy to the dissemination of governance and management practices of information systems that can combine company requirements with the opportunities provided by the world of information and communication technologies. This mission is developed on three main fronts.

The Information Systems Unit can count on a dedicated faculty, made up of a teaching team able to combine conceptual and educational skills typical of the academic world with a pragmatic and interdisciplinary approach developed thanks to continuous dialogue with companies. Alongside these educational capacities, the ability to listen and interact with the main players in the ICT world is today the real strong point of the information systems faculty, the result of both professional experience and day-to-day work in the framework of the School's education programmes.
