The areas of competency the main areas of business and the critical functions that characterise financial institutions:

  • risk management
  • planning and control in financial institutions
  • marketing,  organisation and governance of financial institutions
  • pension funds
  • insurance
Education opportunities for banks, financial institutions and the insurance sector include:
  • long-term programmes (Intensive Banking Course, Evening Corporate Banking and Financial Markets and Asset Management)
  • international programmes for executive education and master courses run in partnership with international global players (for example the Unicredit Master in Corporate Banking)
that strongly involve participants and that create occasions for intense exchanges with the team of AIFA teachers and the colleagues from the international business schools with which SDA Bocconi School of Management has run joint activities for many years.

These initiatives address people at different points in their careers. Some activities are designed to facilitate the development of high potential junior managers, others are tuned to the needs of senior professionals with consolidated experience, and yet others are for top managers who want to develop vision and leadership.
