The Accounting, Control, Corporate Finance and Real Estate Departments of SDA Bocconi School of Management have joined together to be recognised as a leading point of reference for the development of the knowledge needed for the continuous growth of the administrative and financial professions. The competencies and expertise of the Accounting, Control, Corporate and Real Estate Finance Department focus on three basic activities.

• Research, which is primarily aimed to shift forward our professional family’s knowledge background on the following subjects: administration, control, cost management, taxation, corporate finance, corporate valuation and M&A, real estate finance, corporate governance;

• Education and certification, with both open enrolment executive courses and custom programmes; we foster learning together by sharing theories and models, and we use teaching methods that are grounded on interaction;

• Relations: conferences, observatories, newsletters and communities aim to maintain and to stimulate fruitful interaction with our interlocutors.

We can also count on three main drivers in running the above-mentioned activities:

• A dedicated faculty who offer specific competencies that are developed both in the academic world and in successful organisations.

We are deeply convinced that giving up with continuous learning actually means losing knowledge, especially when we face the challenges of integrating with other European countries, which are our major partners and also our fiercest competitors.

The educational activities are fully beneficial because they are linked to Activity Programs: some of them are mostly tied to markets, others to specific topic areas. Each Program has its own mission and specific educational project, counting on a variety of delivery options and educational solutions.
