Channel & Retail Academy

 

In markets where distribution channels are constantly evolving, companies and their managers are being called upon to adopt management approaches and value delivery models that are increasingly sophisticated and innovative. In this international context, both excellence in management training and cutting-edge research play a crucial role.
This is why SDA Bocconi, also leveraging its main partner IBM's competencies and experiences, and with the contribution of other important firms, has created and launched the Channel & Retail Academy.

The Academy aims at becoming an international point of reference able to contribute to the professional growth of junior and senior executives by uniting SDA Bocconi’s excellence in research and education with the know-how and relationships of corporate sponsors.

 

 

 

Why the Academy is special
When attending the Academy, you get more than an international executive education. Indeed, the Academy seeks to bring about lasting managerial experience thanks, in part, to its network and research.
Both senior and junior managers of manufacturing, service and distribution firms can come to the Academy to learn more about channel marketing and retail management.


Executive Education
Four Iinternational training programs have been developed, all of which are conducted in English:

The Marketing in You. For senior executives, it analyzes models and strategic tools of the modern marketing management focusing on branding, communication and advanced retailing.
Go to Market. For senior executives, analyzes from a strategic perspective, the key role of the Go to Market decisions, with a focus on new trends in channel design and management.
Retail Manager. For junior high-potential executives, it aims at transferring the fundamental tools and methodologies for managing retail channels and a retail companies. Thanks to IBM, Main Sponsor of the Academy, and also to Consorzio Europa, a few enrolments will be available, for this program, at a reduced fee from 50% up to 100%, while they last.
E-Marketing. For who wants to empower his multichannel activity through new technologies. This program is designed to provide the know-how and the tools to understand new business models available through new technologies and, therefore, to enhance your profit picture.

Research - Retailing Observatory
For years, the Retailing Observatory has contributed to the generation and publication of cutting-edge, specialist know-how through national and international studies and research projects.
It is a true driver of innovation and training for managers, businesses and organizations involved in managing distribution channels.

Attending the Academy means having access to the network and experience of the Marketing Community. The Community gives its members the ability to systematically interact with world-renowned managers, instructors and other experts both online and through seminars and other evening events.
