International Open Enrollment Programs

Imagination is as important as ever. Italy owes its reputation of excellence to its tradition of imagination and creativity, and we believe that much of SDA Bocconi School of Management success in educate executives for the international business world will come from this foundation.

As executives interact more and more with markets that have become increasingly global in nature, they need the right kind of knowledge and skills to build competitive products, brands and services. Executives need to complement their sense of entrepreneurship with an understanding of customer's needs and habits in an international setting. Most of all, they have to manage companies that can share a common culture of values and practices that can be applied all over the world.

Our open Enrollment Programs offer is designed to satisfy all these needs, and includes the following initiatives. 

Forthcoming Programs:

This program focuses primarily on measuring how illiquidity affects the banking and the trading book management. Special emphasis will be placed on the experiences of leading companies that have invested in projects for measuring liquidity risk. Participants will be able to closely examine the problems of identifying risk factors, supervisory implications, models for mapping financial portfolios, the metrics put forward to measure liquidity risk and the effect on absorption of banking capital.

This program focuses on quantitative tools and techniques to build and manage tactical equity portfolios. Particular attention will be devoted to the construction of short term return forecasting models and to the implementation of portfolio strategies.

At the end of the program participants will have a broad overview of the rationale underlying the use of structured products, on how to break down structured products into their base building blocks and price them in the current financial markets.
