Luxury brands are thriving. Even during these challenging economic times, the luxury sector is growing faster than any other. What is the secret to their astounding success, and how can businesses in any industry tap into it?

SDA Bocconi School of Management has partnered Wharton Executive Education on a new program that explores the strategies and practices of some of the worlds' most iconic luxury brands.

Strategic Management of Luxury Businesses will provide a 360 degree approach to creating, branding, marketing, and selling that has applications for every industry.

Specifically, this program will help participants:
Understand the fundamentals and culture of businesses
Learn best practices in managing the luxury market
Develop strategic thinking in the premium and luxury marketplace
Gain the tools needed to effectively create, implement, and sustain a successful differentiation strategy
Deepen their understanding of challenges and business dynamics in luxury industries

The Wharton School brings world-renowned expertise in strategy, retailing, and e-commerce. Insights and new research from the school’s Jay H. Baker Retail Center and from the school’s marketing and management departments will help participants gain a solid understanding of digital strategy, marketing, globalization, and multi-channel management.

SDA Bocconi School of Management, based in Milan, is the only top-ranked business school in the world to offer an MBA track in Luxury Business Management. Held in the offices of high-end jeweler Bulgari, the track is offered in partnership with LVMH, (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy).

Participants in Strategic Management of Luxury Businesses will gain an insider's perspective on what sets luxury companies apart. Using a combination of lectures, case discussions, guest speakers, and field experiences, faculty experts and company executives will provide a 360 degree approach that challenges current marketing assumptions.

Comprised of two nonconsecutive weeks held in Italy and the United States, onsite learning will take place at some of the world's most iconic brands, including Gucci, Lamborghini, Ralph Lauren, and Tiffany.

Program Logistics

Tuition Tuition for both weeks of this program in Italy and the United States includes lodging and meals. Transportation to and from SDA Bocconi and to and from Wharton is not included. However, land transportation during the program to conduct company site visits is included in the tuition.
