INFORMATION AND CONSENT TO PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

With this document, UNIVERSITA’ COMMERCIALE “LUIGI BOCCONI” (hereinafter “Università Bocconi”), with its headquarters in Milan, Via Sarfatti 25, acting as data controller, informs you, in compliance with Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003, on the subject of the protection of personal information (hereinafter the “Law”), regarding the use of your personal information (hereinafter “Information”) including that information defined as “sensitive” according to the Law (to merely use an example, Information on the general state of health, information regarding racial origins, etc.).

1. Aim and method of use of Information
Your Information will be subject to processing, possibly with the aid of electronic or computer-based means, for the sole aim of sending research, informational or promotional material, both in paper form and in electronic form on Università Bocconi and other initiatives supported by the University (for example degree programs and University services, facilities and research activities, cultural and recruitment initiatives and events, fundraising). These initiatives and periodic publications such at Bocconi News may be sent both in paper form and via email to the email address that is communicated to us.

2. Information distribution and communication
Università Bocconi employees, faculty of the courses you attended and those necessary by law who need information to carry out their duties or under the position they cover, or other parties providing services to Università Bocconi, who the University has specifically named responsible or in charge of use of Information, may have access to information regarding your person. These parties, in relation to their duties, will only have access to Information pertinent to their duties.
Your Information may also be communicated:
a) to public national and international parties such as Ministries and Public Administration Offices, in carrying out the University’s institutional functions;
b) to individuals or legal entities, external organizations and associations, private practices and businesses (even outside national borders) for the aims in point 1; to other legal entities (Università Bocconi Alumni Association, Javotte Bocconi Institution, ISU Bocconi);
c) to international parties, in the event that you participate in international programs; to the EGEA bookstore which has an agreement with the Università to obtain a discount card.

3. Conferral of Information
Conferral of information is optional, but essential to receive informational material from Università Bocconi; in fact, in the case that conferral of data is refused, Università Bocconi cannot provide the abovementioned services.

4. Sensitive Information
Your sensitive Information, which we would like to remind you is, as an example, information on your general state of health, political, religious or union opinions, support of a student political association or a political party, information regarding racial origins, etc. will be processed exclusively for carrying out requests by any regulations of law and for the sole aims connected to the carrying out of the University’s institutional activities.

5. Rights of the interested party
You may exercise your rights according to article 7 of the Law, including obtaining a copy of the information processed, its updates and changes, and anything regarding yourself, its integration and, appealing to extremes, its deletion or restriction because of unlawful processing.
Requests regarding ex article 7 of D.Lgs. 196/2003 may be sent to the headquarters of the data controller, Università Commerciale “Luigi Bocconi”, via Sarfatti 25, 20125 Milano, to the attention of the Head of personal information processing, Andrea Gasparri, indicating specifically in the subject of the communication that it refers to“Request for access”.
